What happens next?

The application will be acknowledged and then sent to the relevant Faculty Research Professor for consideration.  If an appropriate supervisor or supervisory team can be identified, and the application and research proposal are considered to be viable by the Faculty Research Professor and potential supervisor(s), the candidate will then be interviewed.  If called for interview, candidates will be asked to give a ten minute presentation on their research proposal.

If successful at interview, the applicant will be recommended for acceptance, with admission subject to approval by the University of Leeds.  In this case, the candidate will be asked to complete a University of Leeds application.
