Entry requirements

The exact requirements can be found in the entry requirements section of the individual course entries on our website. In programmes where written assignments are required to gain an award, you must have the required ability in English language suitable for the level of programme. This is usually GCSE Grade C or an accepted equivalent such as Key Skills at Level 3. This will be verified on receipt of applications.

For international applicants IELTS at grade 6.0 or another acceptable English Language qualification is required.

For some programmes particular relevant previous experience is a prerequisite for an application to be successful. In some instances you may need to be working in a particular environment or have access to a specified client group.

Flexible Learning Framework

It is possible to study individual modules available on most of our postgraduate courses. Credit at the appropriate levels can be awarded on successful completion of assessment.

It may also be possible in certain circumstances to complete modules in order to demonstrate competence to enter an award bearing scheme if you do not possess the necessary entry qualifications. Modules completed in this way can then be counted towards a final award.
