At York St John University, Theology & Religious Studies is
about celebrating the diversity of our world's religious and
spiritual belief systems through rigorous, academic study that is
underpinned by an attitude of respect and empathy. We believe in
learning through encounter and dialogue, through observing and
engaging in practical experiences. In this way Theology and
Religious Studies remains rooted in the realities of our everyday
existence and challenges us to reflect on these in our search for
understanding and meaning.
