Partnerships
Children, Young People and Education (CYPE) work in
partnership with many organisations, including Local Authorities
such as North Yorkshire, East Riding, Doncaster and City of York
Council. We also work with the voluntary and community sector and
private businesses to develop tailored CPD provision.
We have strong links to the YorOK Children and Young People's
Strategy group and as such are pleased to host a short film on our
website which we feel will be of interest to anyone working with
children and young people or hoping to pursue a career in this
field.
This lively and inspirational film has been produced by
Inspired Youth as part of a project commissioned by the YorOK
Children and Young People's Workforce Strategy group. The aim of
the project was to highlight what is important to children and
young people in relation to the people that work with them. This
DVD will be used as part of the YorOK Children's Trust Induction.

processes, workforce development and planning.
York St John University is part of an exciting new
leadership initiative which was formally launched in January 2011.
The Centre for Leadership Excellence Across the
Region (CLEAR) is focused around six local authorities – Hull,
East Riding of Yorkshire, North East Lincs, North Lincs, York and
North Yorkshire. The centre will act as a 'one-stop shop' for
leaders within schools and children's services to access leadership
training at all levels.
