Faculty of Arts at York St John University is rich with expertise
and activity. Creative Business exists to assist the Faculty in
realising its commercial aims.
Through a blend of activity, Creative Business provides support
for business development in the creative industries, whether that
be for undergraduate entrepreneurs or established businesses in the
region.
Proof of
Concept Fund 2011/12
Creative Business currently supports a Proof of Concept fund for
York St John undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurs. Through
mentoring and supporting our proof of concept entrepreneurs,
Creative Business has supported many businesses directly.

Knowledge Transfer & Knowledge Transfer
Partnerships (KTP)
Staff within the Creative Business department are members of the
Institute of Knowledge Transfer, with whom we've partnered to hold
a recent Regional Networking Event on innovation.
Within the faculty and the University, Creative Business
champions open innovation and knowledge exchange through its work
with the subject areas and their links with business.
Creative Business is also the first port of call for either a
Knowledge Transfer Partnership or some other form of Knowledge
Exchange within the Arts and Product Design subject areas. Please
