Sustainability
Introduction
The University is committed to the continued development of its
approach towards sustainability, the local community and the
environment, and this is reflected in our key strategic aims
In order to assist with this, we have a formal and properly
constituted Environmental Management Committee, which reports to
the Strategic Leadership Team. Group membership includes
representation from Faculties and Departments, students and the
Senior Leadership Team.
An overall Environmental Management Policy has been agreed, as
well as a Carbon Management Plan, against which considerable
progress has been made.
